Lifecycle is the realization of a 10 year dream for Northwest Hip Hop artist Chris Davis. A long time member of the group Dead Poets, Chris has traveled the country developing a sound that is as honest as it is passionate. Each song is dripping with a openness that is rare in hip hop without the flashiness and themes that are currently prevalent in the art. Instead replacing the ideas of money and woman is a open telling of a mans journey through pain, depression, abandonment and all the pit falls that come along with living life. Chris believes in making music that is accessible to people from all facets of life and feels that although the listener might not have lived through the same events that have created the feelings within him, we all know what it is like to feel pain, to laugh, and to cry. Chris believes in making music that does not compromise who he is just to become popular, but instead believes that if just one listens to the music and for a few minutes doesn't feel like they are alone then he has done all that he can. The music is both edgy and melodic with moments of reckless abandon that draw the listener in and create a vivid imagry to go along with the soundtrack of refreshing production and powerful lyrics.
