Known by many from Season 6 of American Idol, Sarah Burgess\' single \"Dangerouz,\" has risen to #9 on the AC chart, a strong follow up to her first single, \"Didn\'t Matter That,\" which was written by Mikal Blue and Colbie Caillat. Born and raised in Eastern Ohio, Sarah currently lives in Western Pennsylvania, close to her family. With a strong, smoky pop voice reminiscent of Alicia Bridges and Fergie, Burgess both caresses and belts out pop, powerpop, jazz, and ballads with equal vigor. Within days of her contract signing with PME Records, Burgess was opening for Daughtry and Day of Fire at the Colorado State Fair. \"We couldn\'t have been happier with the job she did\" explains PME President Craig Patterson, \"She tore that place apart.\" Some heavy-hitting session players are recording for the album \"One,\" including Greg Mathieson (Christina Aguilera, Barbra Streisand), Doug Jackson (Ambrosia, Kenny Loggins), and the world-renowned Philharmonika Bulgaria, recorded in Sofia, Bulgaria.
