I've finally decided to get off my duff and try to do something with my songwriting. Although I live in Michigan, I'm originally from Mesquite, TX. I'm a distant cousin of Buddy Holly and Bud Carter (Carter Steel Guitars) is my step-father. I declare today that the music did not die; it transferred to the next generation. Although I have Contemporary Christian and County listed as my primary genres, I write all kinds of music. I also enjoy writing songs for my little one.
