简介
Erase-E first emerged on the hip hop landscape in 1994; with his first independent album "Strictly 4 Tha G'z". Three months later, Erase-E ran into Master P at their distribution company SMG (Solar Music Group). Master P was in the middle of a studio session, recording the last song for a compiliation, and asked Erase-E to lend multiple bars to finish the song up. The forementioned project West Coast Bad Boyz "Anotha Level" would be one of the more legendary and better selling compilations in the bay area and at that time, nationally. West Coast Bad Boyz "Anotha Level" eventually sold over 500,000 copies, after being re-released by Priority Records in 1995. In 1996 Erase-E was part of a group/compilation entitled Kinfolks "They Ain't Know'N". Shortly after, he helped his childhood friend S.T.N.(R.I.P) strike a deal with the same label. S.T.N. which is an Acronym for Slick The Ni**a would release his debut album "Game Stress" that featured Erase-E on the hood anthem "Cellblock Rulaz." Also on the “Game Stress” album was the homage to hemp heads hit, “Premium" Which featured the 600 Cellblock and the Brohydez. In the year 1997, Erase-E was featured in The Source Magazine’s May'97 issue, within the Unsigned Hype portion of the magazine.( The same issue that had B.I.G. on the cover after he passed.) After working with different labels and distribution companies and gaining a lot of knowledge about the business, Erase-E decided to start his own label in 1998, “Lethal Injection Entertainment.” He would release the maxi-single/e.p. "Those That Know Me", followed by his second full length album "Longevity" in 2001. In 2003 he teamed up with student mentor/teacher Stephen Ashford (Kontac) and released their collaborative album "They Got Some Sh..t On Here". The album featured high caliber guests: M.C. Lyte, Prodigy of Mobb Deep, Littles from QB Finest, Black C from RBL, Pooh-Man, Mistah F.A.B., Balance and others. This album lead them to the section of The Source Magazine's "Independence's Day" in 2004. In 2006 Erase-E recorded his third unreleashed album entitled "Smoov' But Aggressive". Due to other labels being involved, no one could come to agreement on a release date amongst other things so the album was shelved. In 2009 Erase-E went back the basics and dropped his street album "2nd Wind". Soon after he filmed a video for the first single "Not Needed" (I Don't Need That) with fellow up and coming Richmond artist, “D-Ross.” In 2010 Erase-E released a new single via iTunes entitled "Big Shot" produced by DapDidItRecords. There's also a video for the single on youtube/famuzic. He is currently working on his new album "On E" on his own imprint Lethal Injection Entertainment.
