Sook is a singer/songwriter from Mid-Michigan. Her genre is acoustic-folk but aspects of Sook's classical training have influenced her songwriting. Sook's musical studies began at age 9 with the violin. Sook is now a member of the Midland Symphony, plays in the Midland Music Society, is involved in the Midland community as a violin and viola instructor and is the director of two fiddling ensembles. Sook has enjoyed sharing her music at several coffee shops and open mics in mid-Michigan and has also played in Milwaukee. Her music is appreciated by those who are looking for music to relax with. Sook’s listeners have said that her music reminds them of Tracy Chapman, Jewel, and K.D. Lang. "Savor" is Sook's debut album as a singer/songwriter. It is a lovely collection of easy to listen to folk ballads. The album includes violin, viola, and Celtic whistle offering a wide range of sounds for the listeners' ear.
