The idea of “Who You Are,” was to showcase who I am as an artist. Although, I have had a background in mixing, producing, and as an instrumentalist, this was my first “real” vocal performance. This single was co-produced, mixed, and mastered with my good friend Gabriel Bello, who truly inspired me to create this record. The single is very “organic,” in a sense that it’s me and I’m extremely proud of that. With Gabriel being a bill boarding number one jazz artist, his experience has allowed me to grow. I wanted this track to reflect the “complete package” of what a true artist is; that is writing, mixing, producing, performing, and arranging, which is a big part of what Gabriel and I are. I am pleased to put out such a smooth and catchy R&B/Pop record that I love. It wouldn’t be what it is today without my extremely supportive family and friends.
