This project was inspired by my two favorite types of music,Bluegrass and old Hymns.I grew up in the 50's in a family that loved singing the old Hymns.Five of these songs are old Church of God (Anderson) Heritage Hymns that were penned by the church founders.These timeless old Hymns still inspire and touch the hearts of the listener, just as they did 100 years ago.

Ron is Music Director at his local church in Laurelville,Ohio and has served for thirty plus years in that position.When not singing for the Lord,He might be found running his sawmill or coon hunting with his own blood line of Treeing Walker hounds.He and his wife of thirty seven years have two sons.If you love the old hymns and good pickin',then you will like this album.
