Kaitlyn is a young singer songwriter from Australia. At the tender at of 10, Kaitlyn wrote a song inspired by a young girl called Ruby who passed away from Neuroblastoma in her home town to help raise money to find a cure. Her song I Wish is her first original song to be sold on Itunes. Once released half of the proceeds will go to the YAMS (You are my sunshine) foundation. Kaitlyn also hopes to share her song with the Royal Childrens Hospital in Australia to help raise money for them also and give the other half of the proceeds to the worthwhile cause. Kaitlyn began posting homemade videos on You Tube in 2009. Her first video was for Ellens singing in the bathroom competition. She really wanted to get on her show. It turned out that other people liked her performance and they started subscribing and leaving her comments. She was so overwhelmed about the comments she was receiving she wanted to do more videos. And that’s how her you tube journey began. She now has over 10,000 subscribers and over 300,000 views on her videos from people around the world. Kaitlyn has recently became a you tube partner and is thrilled to bits. This means more networking for Kaitlyn and a way to make money from her original videos. Every year Kaitlyn is a part of the Dance for Cancer Initiative on the Aurora Community channel with JYTSMP and just loves giving back with her talent. She has raised money for cancer with dance, raised awareness of the Starlight Foundation Australia via her you tube channel and by performing live for sick kids here in Australia and helped where she can for anybody needing assistance like Taylor Love and recently the Australian Floods. She has a big heart and wears her heart on her sleeve for all to see and just loves helping others out. Kaitlyn is just enjoying the ride with her mum and dad at the moment on you tube. Waiting for her next adventure is so exciting. She just wants to perform and sing on stage and hopefully get into Television or film. But right now she’s just happy being a kid and making videos with her mum for her fans and friends on you tube.
