Maneater and the Juggernauts is a two-piece garage-rock band based in Columbus, OH, comprised of Zachary G. Schroeder (guitar, vocals) and Grant Siefker (drums). "Hotel Bar Happy Hour" is MatJ's first full-length release, featuring 13 songs about love, loss, disappointment, and spite. Siefker's drums pound out roller-coaster rhythms, guest bassist Erik Henry injects some serious soul into the mix, and Schroeder's vocals waver on a knife's edge, all of which combine into a raucous casserole of tasty garage-rock, best served with a cold beer in a dimly lit bar.
