Relintless by definition means not to be placated or appeased or moved by entreaty; grim determination; grim necessity. A very fitting name for a tireless 18 year old flame spitter. Born in Compton, Relintless moved to Woodland, Calvada at the age of 3. From there he started to develop his love for Hip-hop music by hanging around his older family members who actually had their own group at the time. While most thought he was merely watching what was going on, Relintless was soaking up the knowledge which would become the foundation he stands on today. Relintless continued to sharpen his skills and gain as much knowledge on his craft as possible, learning from the likes of Rob C. (his cousin by marriage) and the rest of the Ine. crew. Relintless released his debut album, The Pledge, in the summer of 2004 with the help of friend and former partner MacGyver on production. This project showed flashes of what he could become with the right people behind him. His lyrical skill is evident as tales of hustling, struggle and everyday California life shine bright. Versatility is also one of Relintlesses best assets as he can vary from hardcore life stories to verbal lashings fitted for battles on a New York block. Now enter Lefty Rose into the equation. Both artists happened to be performing at a benefit show in Woodland, CA in August of 2004. Lefty noticed the Youngster and was drawn in by his rapid fire delivery and lyrical skill. After doing a little research and finding out who this kid was, (this was his first show ever!) Lefty extended an invitation to Relintless to become his first artist on the Calvada Sound Company label. He agreed and from there they began to work together. Relintless blazed his first official appearance on Calvada Sound, a fiery verse on Lefty's The Collection Vol. 2 called "Puttin' It Down". This verse has fans buzzing for more Relintless music and he is currently working on his "official" Calvada Sound debut album.
