Born in Buffalo, N.Y., the 24 y/o Timmy Bankz started rapping as a teenager after moving to Pittsburgh, Pa. He built up his rap skills competing in cyphers and rap battles in high school. Under the stage name Profit, he took his lyrical finesse to a larger stage, performing at shows around Pittsburgh alongside other local rappers including Wiz Khalifa and a host of others. Bankz’s career was beginning to gain momentum but the streets were calling.......
