Born Nomshado Mthombeni in Madadeni township in Newcastle KwaZulu Natal, in the Republic of South Africa. Shado M is popularly known for her hit single "inhliziyo yami ithi hey”.

Shado M started singing in local choirs and became a lead vocalist in her church. In 2018 she got her breakthrough with her first single called inhliziyo yami ithi hey, which became a hit song and was nominated for the 2019 South African Music Awards song of the year. Currently sitting at 2.8M views on YouTube.
