For most of my life I have been a Guitarist/Songwriter with an interest in many Genres of music, particularly Irish music Jazz and Latin. In recent years I have taken to writing choral pieces, an activity which I find challenging, stimulating and enjoyable.

The year 2006 brought the birth of my now four year-old boy Tommy, who was born with severe neurological and Cardiac conditions. He requires 24/7 Nursing care, and to this end my family has been greatly assisted by the fundraising efforts of our wonderful local Community.

However, as his Dad, I have always felt the need to do something personally on his behalf, to maintain his level of care, and so it was, that the Chilean Mine Rescue inspired me with the song “Sweet Salvation”. The dedication of the Divine Mercy voices helped me see it through to fruition, and the proceeds of this download will go to The Tommy Simon Carefund.
