Farah Siraj's new album, NOMAD, is a compilation of original compositions fusing Middle Eastern folk, Flamenco fusion, Jazz, and Bossa. With lyrics in Spanish, English and Arabic, her music is truly aimed at an international audience with a taste for intercultural exploration. Her team of musicians include renowned flamenco guitarrist Sergio Gallardo, Manolo Nieto (bassist of Michael Jackson), Faisal Kourrich (Violinist of Shakira), Jimmy Glez (Drummer of Niña Pastori, Jackson Browning and Luz Casal), the string section of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Sevilla, Yousef Mezghildi (Awarded best oud player of Tetuan), flamenco percussionist Agustin Henke, Brazilian percussionist Lilly Pitta, and many other prominent musicians from around the world. Recordings for this production took place between Spain, Jordan and the USA, including performances of over 40 talented international artists. Farah has performed as a solo artist at a multitude of events, including performances in the USA Britain, Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Switzerland and Norway. Among her notable performances, she performed live as a solo artist on the Good Morning Live Show on US television, with over four million viewers. In addition, her music has been broadcasted on more than 114 radio stations across the United States. Farah's music was also played in the United Nations while an international resolution concerning the conflict in Darfur was being approved. Recently, Farah has also been the first Arab artist to perform at the Nobel Prize Hall in Oslo in an effort to use music as a medium for peace and common understanding. The Jordanian virtuoso earned her music degrees from Berklee College of Music in Boston and Trinity College of Music of London, where she received numerous international awards and global recognition. Farah completed her education studying the music of Greece and the Mediterranean from the Philipos Nakas Conservatory in Athens. She also studied Flamenco music at the Fundación Cristina Heeren in Sevilla, Spain. Blending her musical influences from all around the world, Farah has created a unique musical style with no boundaries.
