While growing up in Chicago public housing and dealing with his mother's absence and struggle with a mental disorder he quickly drew closer to God. Staying true to the heart and soul of his Bronzeville community, its history of blues and culture, he shines light on the everyday windy city life where there are churches on every corner and people still search for God.
