The Arizona-born, folk-influenced artist writes songs that are melodically intriguing, lyrically thoughtful, and beautifully sung. The songs were inspired and partially written over many drives through the desert, as Leeann travelled between her hometown of Phoenix and Los Angeles. After two years of playing these songs acoustically throughout venues in Southern California and Arizona, she collaborated with arranger and producer Andy Keathley, who brought rock and pop expertise to the production of the songs. The record was made between 2014 and 2015 in Los Angeles.
