Set in Miami since the mid-1990s, "sweet and heartbreaking" as they often define her, Dama Vicke is currently finalizing her new solo project, in which her beautiful and original melodies dress in a mixture of folk, rock, alternative, jazz, among others. Dama Vicke from Mexico City has been one of the most active artists in the South Florida music scene. She began her career in the 2000's collaborating with US and Mexican artists, currently, she is focused on her new work called "Point Of Inflection" where cinematography, poetry, and visual arts form a strong essence for this new project along with her new and peculiar new band. Point Of Inflection is an EP composed of 5 songs where Dama highlights her talent as a solo artist working with producer Roger Izaguirre of Earplay Studio. At this moment Dama is working with filmmaker Carla Forte and producer Alexey Tarán, also choreographers of Bistoury Physical Theater for a series of music videos for each song on the EP, bringing them together in a cinematic concept. Point of Inflection with so little time since its release it ha already managed to be Finalist for best music video at Feel The Reel Cine Fest, Semi-finalist at Los Angeles Film Festival and, Semi-finalist at Paris Music Video Underground between the months of February and March 2017. Each video has a different story and direction by Carla Forte. Point Of Inflection will be available in all digital platforms on March 15, 2017.
