All proceeds from the download of my song "Heavy Bounce" will be donated to the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. ​ "Heavy Bounce" is about getting back on your feet. The Mid-Ohio Foodbank helps thousands of families every year do just that. ​ I've had a relationship with them since I walked to Seattle, WA from Columbus, OH in 1994 to raise awareness and funds  for the Foodbank. Eudaemonia is a Greek word meaning "a fulfilled life". I chose the name because I'm not sure my life could be more fulfilling, particularly after getting to work with the people who helped me with this music. Just an incredible experience! ​ Larry Pruitt is an excellent guitarist and all around talented musician. You hear his guitar and voice on almost every song. It's been an honor to have played with him over the last few years. ​ Yvonne Wingard blessed me with her cello playing on "Good Man". Listening to her was such a treat, and it really layers more meaning on the song. ​ Mandi Gage sings with me on the song "Heavy Bounce". I have known this special young lady for many years and her voice never fails to bring me to tears. I'm going to have to write more songs just to get to work with her again. If you ever get a chance, you need to see her perform.   When I put together the instrumental track "Green Circle" I wanted to do a chorus and turn it into a social experience. So, I got all the instrument tracks completed and put out the call for friends and family. We had about 16 people show up, including Jasey Schnaars, long time family friend and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter. How freaking cool was that?!?! If you enjoy masterful songs crafted with superb storytelling, you MUST check out Jasey's music. ​ Recorded at the beautiful Vaughan Music Studios, Matt Hagberg served as much more than the sound engineer. A wonderful young man, he contributed so much to the sound of these songs. I am a better musician from having worked with Matt. ​ And finally, my family. What do you say about the bedrock without which nothing else would follow? They are the real reason this collection is titled "Eudaemonia". Sometimes, it's someone else's belief in you that gets you through the times that you wouldn't have without it. My parents, my son and particularly my incredible wife. Life is full.
