Jim Armenti has written dozens of songs which can be heard by listening to the Lonesome Brothers, Mark Erelli, Pam Tillis, Cheri Knight, Cry, Cry, Cry and others. He writes about Western Massachusetts and the lives he comes across. Having taught music in Hampshire County House of Corrections for some 23 years he has many songs from the hearts of prisoners. He has played thousands of roadhouse gigs and met many strange folk over those years.

Jim plays most all of the stringed instruments and most of the wind instruments. He can hit a drum and shake a shaker. He can pluck and pick and bow and sing harmony. He's a homey guy who'd rather sit in a room with friends and play songs than do a big show in LA. Listen, I think you can tell.
