This album was recorded by two Peace Corps volunteers stationed in Dapaong Togo. The music is a compilation of songs performed by villagers of the Moba tribe in local language. The recordings were all made on site in villages with portable recording equipment. None of the artists are professional musicians. The album is intended to give the listener an authentic audio snapshot of an important aspect of Moba culture and daily life. All album proceeds will be donated to development projects in Togo.
