--------------------- "It's been a long journey to get to this point!' muses Susan O'Neill about the release of her debut album 'Found Myself Lost'. The Irish songstress has played the length and breadth of the country as well as travelling and gigging throughout Europe. After completing a BA in Music in Waterford, she took on any gig that would have her, as well as doing a multitude of touring and recording work including stints with The Propeller Palms and festival favourites King Kong Company. Although she plays the guitar, harmonica, trumpet her true love lies in the soulful type singing that she is steadily building a reputation with. Under her own guise Susan has supported Mundy, Paddy Casey, Mick Flannery and Wyvern Lingo and most recently Kila and Paul Brady. This Irish songstress is inspired by varied genres and influences including Kt Tunstall, Stevie Nicks, Norah Jones, Simon and Garfunkel and many Irish folk legends. She wears all these influences on her sleeve. With a truly powerful voice that's all her own and a depth of songwriting that's beyond her 26 years, 'found myself lost' has summed up Susan's younger years in this energetic debut that has concerned itself with the passage of time. Capturing the journey from being a teenager through to early adulthood, the album is full of autobiographical truths. Susan is adamant about hearing this album live and in all its glory “Music is all about live energy and how it makes you feel, it’s about how you can create a connection be- tween you and who you share your experience with.” ,
