Wermer began his love for music by writing poetry at a young age, thus kickstarting his career as an artist. His early influences came in the form of southern-based rap and hip-hop; artists such as Chamillionaire, Trae Tha Truth, Z-Ro, etc. The Houston/Dallas swagger is still distinctively present in Wermer’s style; from multi-syllable fast-rapping, to the clever ‘how did he come up with that?’ metaphors and word-play.
