Atlanta born twenty-one year old Austin Todd Bacheller (A-Bach), has begun to set new precedent for Southern and Carolina based rappers. "Ahead of his time is an understatement," says seasoned local rapper/ producer Dub Digital. Dub is featured throughout the album, but is quick to point out that the song writing and raping belong to this rising star. "Im just here to ensure the best production quality possible," says Dub while pulling back A-Bach's verse on the album's club banger and street anthem "59 Fitted ." Listening to the song, I could imagine it being difficult to keep up with A-Bach's consistently charming style and balance of young swag and energy. After pointing this out to Dub, he just smiled in agreement and told me, "he is the hardest working and most completely dedicated rapper the Carolinas could ever hope to call their own." He shows he is proud to be a Carolinian in every song. A-Bach's background is split between his original home town and Wilmington, as is Dub Digitals (also from the Atlanta area). Where a lesser talented rapper might come off as undecided in origin, A-Bach pulls his roots and background together seamlessly. Dub Digital clearly knows how to find and pull together talent that makes for great music.
