TRINIDE, born Martrelle Gates is an artist built from nothing more than hard work and dedication. Born in Santa Ana, California and raised in the Midwest, TRINIDE occupies the image of muscles and jewelry with a strong yet humble presence. Those who know the industries inner workings can easily understand the lack of resources the state of Indiana has to promote an independent artist on a national platform. Starting his grind in the IND’s (Indiana) second largest city, Fort Wayne, TRINIDE has been more than successful at locking down his hometown. This artist has been able to take it beyond the music by working with community organizations such as: Fort Wayne Urban League, S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and WNHT’s (Wild 96.3) street team. TRINIDE has also shared the stage with such artists as Yung Joc, Dem Franchize Boyz, Trina, Rakim, DJ UNK, Young Buck, DJ Quik, Keith Sweat, Ray-J, Shawnna, and more. TRINIDE is one of three founding partners of the record label and promotions company THUNDER DOME PRODUCTIONS. After a discography of independent releases TDP and TRINIDE have produced his first commercial project “Remember The Name Vol. 1” which is currently available on iTunes and attracting major label attention.
