Musiqua is an alias of Martin Söderberg from Sweden. On his songs that easily describes both reality and fantasy, he plays guitars, keyboards and sing. After playing in rock and funk bands, and leading orchestras for high school and college stage plays, his solo-material takes a much more mellow note, utilizing the acoustic guitar and piano to create moving songs with lyrics that are unafraid to evoke feelings in the listener. With the recording of Alpha, Musiqua called upon his musician friends to help him bring the best possible sound of his songs. The resulting 40 minutes are ranging from acoustic ballads to pop satire, always keeping the theme of the song in focus.
