"The Planets: a musical journey" is a voyage through our solar system which is both creative and musically artistic. The personality of the planets as interpreted by Susan Vesna lends color and perspective to the orbs which compose our heavenly neighborhood. Mercury shows it's swift, dual nature in uptempo electronica; Venus shows a softer side in a more romantic piano ballad. What can one say about Earth? Maybe marching into oblivion? Mars shows it's warrior nature with it's musical signature and Jupiter shows it's power in another uptempo interpretation. The grandeur of Saturn is in the signature of a composition which will definitely take you on a meditative, personal journey right into the rings and back. Uranus and Neptune are two more hypnotic tunes that will bring images of the Greek Gods and a watery kingdom. Finally, even though Pluto has been demoted from being a planet to becoming a moon, Susan Vesna has composed a classical piece to say farewell to this planet in a most dignified manner.

This is Susan Vesna's second CD. Her first " The Seasons and Global Travels" inspires the changing of the seasons and world travels, while "The Planets: a musical journey" will expand your consciousness to travel beyond our earthly constraints.
