"Summer Dreams Away" is a collection of songs from 2003 and 2004. The first three full band tracks are from the PCH Sessions, recorded within a stones throw of the Pacific Ocean in Southern California. The last two acoustic tracks were recorded at Supernatural Sound on the outskirts of Portland, OR. The EP represents two sides of Shane Simonsen's sound. One being a free flowing slice of Americana, and the other a rockish yet mellow tinge of folk.
