Half Way Station is pure chemistry on stage: They roll electric guitar and psychedelic synth-drones into their own recognisable style, that is both energizing and soulful. On top of that lies the intense voice of their lead singer Elma Plaisier.

In just three years time Half Way Station evolved from a small acoustic act into a band, that is festival-worthy and ready for big stages. With their debut album Moonshine (Excelsior Records/V2, 2012) the band started to make a name in their home country. Because of many concerts the band built up a solid live reputation. After the fully packed releaseparties in Rotown Rotterdam, Paradiso Amsterdam and playing several festivals in the next two years, the band got together in a big house in the Provence (France) with French producers Maurice Vogt (Studio de la Seine, Motif Music) and Khoi Huynh (Studio de la Seine). Together they recorded and produced Half Way Station’s newest album that will be released in 2015.
