简介
This Album is going to bring the West Back. This new Style they call Maniac is legit. Its a Cross Between Hypy and 1994 Gangsta. The beats are pleasant to listen to than most hip hop albums. Very tuff with some great lyrical content. The Album has a track for just about everbody to enjoy. A must have copy in the new digital era. By Jose Campos After reading the reviews, I figured hey why not chance my 10 bucks and see if this record was good as people were making it out to be. Well it is, and of a matter of fact the CD has not left my CD player since I put it in. Its raw, but I like it. They got something different that just pulls you in that I haven't figured out yet. Maybe its just so much emotional content in there Lyrics I don't know. Beats are tight. Worth 10 bucks all day. Seems like these guys went back to the likes of 2pac or something. Not saying there 2pac, but they put there emotions on there sleeves and tell you about it. Its been awhile since we've had music like this to listen to. Thanks guys I'll be keeping a ear out. By Dj KC Friend told me of the release, so I came to see what she was fussing bout. Was greeted by a hard hitting track right off the bat. Chorus is catchy, and had me nodding my head as I listened along. The mood had been set, I was worried that this would be their one hit wonder. So many start strong and fade out never to be heard from again. So I had that in the back of my head as I headed into track 2. So Fitted was like a throwback to the old days, with a new school flavor. I was still nodding my head, but still a bit unsure. Then Truth be Told kicks me in the face. I'm not one to really give props, takes quite a bit for me to really break down and say that I enjoy a track. I'm a musician by trade and its hard to give props at times. Well props, sure this is your runaway track. You guys kept this one under wraps. If your going to try and get the feel of the album, peep this one for sure. I'm not going to run down every track for you, but it starts strong, and fades out nicely. For a first album, its nowhere near where Id expect it. It has it's rough spots, but all in all its better then most mainstream crap out there right now. Not everyday someone shines their emotions at you, and actually succeeds in touching you. No tears shed, but got my mind going on a few subjects. I'm so tired of hoes, pimps, and cars. Bout time someone brought something real to the table. Worth the 10 bucks, their asking. Doubt there a one hit wonder, I'll be keeping my ears out for ya. by DJ Kalil I stumbled on this album by accident. I recolonized one of the artist on the cover. I did a track with Maddog back in the day. I was like What, because he used to only sing back then. So I downloaded the Cd. Man, my dude must of been in a cellar some where working on his flow, and the rest of the guys on the album go hard as well. They talk some real issh through out the whole album, never bragging that they got a staple of hoes, or slamming Cadillac doors while sitting on 24's. Its all emotion and you feel it. From the beats to the lyrics its all heart. There legit, and speaking for my dude Maddog, he got mad street creditability so this is all real. Its been about 10 years since I heard a product like this. It could be refined around the edges a little bit but all in all its better than any thing I heard on the mainstream or in the underground. Maddog if you out there contact me holmes, i'm down with the Maniac movement, glad your back.
