Coty Brooks (born May 14, 1987), better known by his stage name Fresh4L aka Fresh4Life grew up in the town of Hartsville in South Carolina. He was adopted at six months by a close relative because his parents weren't in a position to take care of a child. He never had a relationship with his biological farther. But learned to grow up fast living in a single parent home with his adopted mother. He has 2 brothers and a sister from the same biological mother and they all were very close. Until some unfortuante situations happened with his brothers. One brother was arrested for murder and the other brother was shot numerous times from being involed with street life, he survived but this was a sign for Fresh. At this point in Fresh's life he decided to move forward and progress and use his talent of making music to change his life and help the people around him.
