In the mind of a ten year old boy striking his first note, Overproof was born, infatuation quickly revealed the undeniable pull to create. Songs flowed from inception, the power and slight of hand to apparently pull music out of thin air proved too intoxicating to resist. Fast forward through a dozen cliche' winding roads of hope, disillusionment and uncertainty to a place where five seemingly random musical paths collide and a dream is fully realized.... these five incongruous characters brought and held together by a simple thread. People play and write music for all kinds of reasons. The only kind worth listening to is written for one.... the compulsion to create something REAL, that perhaps as a byproduct, happens to be original. These two qualities make art and music timeless. None of us know how we do what we do or even what to call it. We don't need to know. All we know is the sun is shinning bright..... and we just want to go outside and play.
