Upon listening to 'Without End', he exclaimed: “What a beautiful song!" And then when asked for suggestions to enhance the arrangement, he said: “What do you need my help for? You have everything you need. It's perfect as is!” 'Without End' is for all the dads in the world that have been placed in the bittersweet position of giving away a precious daughter in marriage. It's unique in that the arrangement includes not only the traditional verse heard in the National Anthem, but also the final fourth and even more touching verse that is rarely performed or heard by the public. It took on very special meaning to Richard whose son was currently serving his 1st tour of duty in Iraq in the Air Force as one of the willing "freemen" standing "between their loved home and the war's desolation".
