Diane de Mesa is a Filipino-American singer/songwriter from Northern California Bay Area. She started singing since she was 2 and discovered her talent in writing songs at the age of 7. Also a poet at heart, she has written over 100+ collections of poems that often times she converts to lyrics for her songs. Ever since, Diane has been performing in choir, front acts in local Filipino concerts, and band. She performed in several talent shows, choir concerts, and luau shows. In 2001, Diane was featured in the local community channel in San Jose, CA, Channel 15 Public Access with “Maestro Darrell Leffler Show" and performed "Valentine" by Martina McBride. In 2002-2003, Diane did the opening acts for Filipino artists, Rica Peralejo, the “King of Rock” Mike Hanopol, and the Filipino male group Jeremiah. She was also the lead band vocalist of "Ignition" that performed on private gigs. In 2005-2008, Diane put a hold in her music by pursuing a Nursing career. By profession, Diane is a Registered Nurse (RN), but music will always be her first love... In 2009, Diane became one of the winners of the Kris Farrow Acoustic Guitar Karaoke Contest, in her rendition of "Silent night" and as a result, her track is now being sold on iTunes. Diane was later on signed by Triple Pop Productions to record the lead vocals for the Kris Farrow Acoustic Guitar Karaoke Demonstration Versions album on iTunes. She is the lead vocals on the demonstration tracks , "The Climb" and "Butterfly fly away" by Miley Cyrus, "Magic" and "Realize" by Colbie Caillat, "Today was a fairytale" by Taylor Swift. These tracks are currently being sold on iTunes. In November of 2009, Diane started uploading her cover songs in YouTube, (http://www.youtube.com/msdianeg) and started to gain a number of followers from all over the world. Also in August of 2010, Diane opened a 2nd channel in youtube for her original songs that successfully became a youtube partner channel in January of 2011. (http://www.youtube.com/DDeMesaORIGINALS) In March of 2011, Diane released her self-produced debut album, “Fly Away”, that contains her song compositions and collaborations with other wonderful musicians.
