SABURA, “intense joy”, is a love declaration to the celebration of life on our island São Vicente.

In their new compositions for this album Swagato and OLINÔS want to share this sensation of serenity and relaxedness.

OLINÔS, “Here we are!”, is a group of musicians sharing a longing to play Cape Verdean music in an innovative way.

Based on the local grooves of Coladera, Sanjon, Morna, Cola Funk and Funana the band continues its expansion into Afro Jazz improvisations, thus preparing the ground for an emerging movement of Cabo Verde Jazz.
