Pop/R&B singer, songwriter, and producer Christopher Ray (also known as C-Ray) was raised in Kokomo, Indiana and currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana. Chris first entered the music scene in 2000 with the now-defunct groundbreaking rap label I.B.R. / Rawthentic Records with Knightmare, A-Bility, and S.O.N. In 2004 he signed a recording contract with Indianapolis based independent music production company 3Duff Entertainment, but the label went bankrupt and his music career was in remission. Despite the short-lived success of the label Chris still believes it wasn\'t a bad experience but a \"learning experience\". In March 2007, C-Ray signed an exclusive deal with music mogul imprint UrbanLink Music Group (ULMG), where he was offered a label deal and is now the C.E.O. of his own music and career. \"Chris is a talent that you can\'t create or manufacture, he\'s a natural born musician\", says Iyron Davis president of ULMG.
