This cd has some killer riffs. It is similar to Dark Funeral but done really well (technical and genius, with riff recycling). The recording on this cd just spoils the whole thing. Their first three EPs/Demos had a much better recording why did they have to change it. It is highly produced, over-produced, it sounds like a bunch of machines. The drums sound like a drum machine, and the bass is pretty hard to hear. The whole cd stands in my cd collection as if it were a piece of plastic. The production almost goes against every rule ever made by black metal. I think the recording on plaguewielder sounds more natural then this (though both are equally as bad). The material most of the time is pretty good but who cares if I cant enjoy it. I prefer their other cds, the material is just as good with a decent recording.
