Kimona, the stunning singer/songwriter from South London returns with a bang this Autumn after three years out of the spotlight. She began her career providing vocal talent on the 2009 Crazy Cousinz club smash hit "I See You", which received over 400,000 hits on YouTube. Kimona is now ready to launch her career as a superstar in her own right. She draws on her life experiences to write all her own songs. Her hauntingly beautiful voice and soulful lyrics make listening to her music a deeply moving experience. Kimona says on writing her own lyrics “I write when I can, I just get that urge, I have to get that joy or pain out on paper. Knowing that I can put that down and people can listen to it, wherever they are is what brings me joy.” "Starring Role" is Kimona's first solo EP which will lead to a full album in 2014. This EP is set to showcase a more mature, elegant and sophisticated sound.
