Mexican Latin Recording Artist, who became a teenage Idol in the early 80's, also known as "La Madrina de Menudo" for having a group of teenagers open her concerts, eventually becoming the world famous "Menudo". She performed in 5 "OTI" contests and was named Billboard's Best New Artist 1981 at age 16. Her carrer expanded for 6 more years and 6 studio albums before retiring completely to look over her kids. In 2003 Alondra returned to the music scene with an album which awarded her a Grammy nomination. In 2004 she recorded an album with five diferent music formats demonstrating her versatility, one of those genres "Trance/Electronica" a first for a Mexican Recording Artist. Since she has recorded 6 albums and many have gone platinum. In 2006 she recoded the official FIFA Germany Soccer Worldcup song "La vida es futbol". She has been nominated twice as Best Female Artist at the International Dance Music Awards. She continues to be the top Latin Dance music artist in the world with more than 5 million albums sold during her career, and many more single digital downloads. She is also the best selling Digi-cards artist in the world and currently tours nightclubs and arenas worldwide. Her album Desorbitada is her 11th studio album of her career.
