Wolf Trap off shoot Wolf Trap Elektronisch's first release. Wolf Trap Elektronisch sees a more experimental series of releases to those of Wolf Trap. Not confined to releasing dance music tracks, the off-shoot label will encompass a broad range of electronica.....what we think is cool music. The first release on Wolf Trap Elektronisch is Simon Heartfield's 'Secret Self'. Simon has been releasing music since the late eighties in one form or another. As a bass player in the band 'The Psylons' he received support from the late, great BBC Radio One legend John Peel with plays on his show the 'John Peel Sessions'. Simon's DJ sets and live electronic performances have seen him play alongside the likes of The Orb's Alex Paterson, Billy Nasty, Umek, Luke Slater and Colin Dale. 'Secret Self' has an eighties film soundtrack feel, very percussive with an industrial edge. It's deep, dark and ambient.
