简介
Background Dragon song is inspired by a short fantasy story written by Anna Nikitina Konkova. it's about a knight who is asked to slay a dragon in the mountains. He vows to do this, as he has a noble character. Every night he camps on the mountainside and he dreams of a white dragon rising into the moonlight and singing to him in a voice that creates both longing and connectedness. He feels no hate or anger at all for this creature. He wakes each time trying to shake it off, but the meanings escape him. He finally arrives at the dragon cave, where a beautiful white dragon is sleeping. Just before he releases a fatal arrow, though, the dragon wakes and turns to him with penetrating, loving eyes. He realizes he was fooled by the greedy town mayor and that this creature is truly noble and pure of heart, so he breaks a vow for the first time in his life and departs. He gets into a scuffle with other dragon hunters, while trying to persuade them to turn back, and is very badly injured. But while unconscious and about to "cross over" into death, a gentle hand grabs his shoulder and prevents him. He turns to discover a stunning woman with long white hair and those same eyes! She explains they are bonded soul mates even though they are of different races. He is then revived, and with the dragon, escapes the hunters with her to forge a destiny together!
