Early Attempts At Flight is a collection of songs that I had written and recorded in the years leading up to my brother and I forming the band Honky Suckle. After eight years of good times and touring, the band had run had its course, and we were calling it quits. Meanwhile, I had a collection of songs I had recorded nearly a decade earlier that had set dormant. I found myself with the choice of playing my songs solo, or not at all. As long as I have the breath to sing, and the ability to play, I'll continue creating until my brief time on this speck of dust floating in the infinite expanse ends. I hope you enjoy my collection of musical peculiarities from long ago.
