简介

Aldo Shllaku is one of the new voices of Hollywood film composers providing a unique compositional approach to the film music industry. A classically trained composer, Aldo Shllaku, started his music studies at a very young age. He earned a degree in Music Composition at the Université de Montréal under the mentorship and guidance of avantgarde Canadian composer, Dr. Michel Longtin. Concentrating on deepening the understanding of new compositional techniques for film and Television, he moved to Los Angeles and attended the prestigious Scoring For Motion Pictures and Television graduate program (USC) under the direction of Oscar winning composer, David Raksin, and Golden Globe Nominee, Christopher Young. Aldo Shllaku's music can be heard on feature films, documentaries and Television. For his musical contribution to such films he has received professional recognition, acclaim and awards. "Pirate for the Sea" is a feature length documentary film about the life of Paul Watson, one of the co-founders of "Green Peace." An amazing look at the efforts of this man and the volunteers of the "Sea Shepherd Foundation" in saving the worlds oceans, an insight of their fight in stopping the illegal killing of whales in Antarctica and that of the seals and sea lions in the North Pole. Shot aboard the "Farley Mowat" during one of Paul Watson's campaigns by veteran director / producer Ron Colby, this feature documentary has been officially selected in some of the most prestigious film festivals around the world, such as, the Telluride International Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, Dublin International Film Festival, etc. A celebration of the human action in protecting "the last remaining cathedrals of this planet", the film is a real inspiration for joining the much needed fight for the preservation of our oceans and ecosystems.
