Her music is sensible,sensitive,and heartwarming that an array of people can relate to. My influences are Tina Turner,Otis Redding,Sam Cooke,and Al Green. Artist today I admire are Jill Scott, Chrisette Michele,Vivian Green,Norah Jones. When I fell at work in 2000 my dreams of being a pro player were crushed since the league considered me as damaged goods. While sitting at work one day I started writing & people liked it. I took some pointers from a well known artist and my brother whose been writing for years. I also read some books a songwriter and musician gave me then I did some reading on my own. Once I learned about songwriting and the industry I fell in love with it. Songs just started popping in my head then they started coming to me in a dream. After awhile it just depended on my surroundings, no matter what I always write from the heart. I write about everyday life and situations so people can definitely relate to them. I knew I had some good lyrics and that all I needed was a good beat. I want to write and perform with artist all over the world. My advice to anyone trying to get in the industry is to be patient,have a positive attitude,and be able to accept rejection as well as praise. Ask the Lord if this is for you and he'll give you the answer. No matter what anyone says or does if its for you the Lord will make sure you get it. Just trust and believe in him and go out on his word. I'm a very energetic and positive happy person. I smile and laugh all the time. I love basketball. I'm married and I have two children.
