Stephen Adkins was born in Rock Hill, SC. He grew up loving to fish and be outdoors. His first love was Football. Very talented at playing Wide Receiver, his hopes of playing college football were ended due to an injury his junior year of high school. There he picked up his first guitar at the age of 17 and never looked back. His earlier influences came from artists like Keith Urban, Elvis Presley, Conway Twitty, and Blake Shelton. Shortly after graduating high school early, he set out to Nashville to write, sing, connect, and hone his craft. Stephen Adkins is truly a new artist to watch for in 2015. With his heart felt mid-range vocals and canny ability to write unique melodic songs, Stephen Adkins' music is a must to check out!
