Composer Jaime Fernandez Rivera, a New Yorker of Spanish extraction, is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program, Harvard School of Business Administration. He also holds several degrees from Roosevelt University, Chicago, Illinois, including A Masters in Philosophy with Honors, A masters Degree in Public Administration and a BSBA in Finance. A romanticist, who firmly believes that the composer, poet, painter, writer, singer, artist, which are conscientious of their role and mission in life, can create a radiant energy of light as a creative force from the soul, whose power is strong enough to draw all things together into a unity of peace preserving nature and humanity against the disruptive forces of war and hate. A biographical-discourse is not important, what is, is his philosophy of life and an ardent desire for a kaleidoscopic view of life through his music. "Sharing my music is what I enjoy most. Nothing else comes close." Luis Antonio Gálvez-Alcántara, Director of Music and Liturgy at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church is Founder and Executive Director of The North Shore Opera Hour—Where Music and Passion Meet! He recently received the Tumi Award, honouring Peruvian professionals in the Entrepreneur category. He is also the recipient of the most distinguished award offered by the Association of Peruvian Institutions in the U.S. and Canada for his excellence and commitment to the Peruvian community as a valuable contributor to promoting cultural diversity. He is on the Voice Faculty at Sherwood, TheCommunity Music School at Columbia College and piano and voice instructor for the school, Piano Lessons In Your Home. A native of Lima, Peru, Luis Antonio Gálvez-Alcántara, possessor of a dark, full-bodied lyric voice has become one of the most sought after tenors in the Chicago area. His operatic roles have included Don Jose in Carmen, Rodolfo in La Boheme, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly and Alfred in Die Fledermaus sung throughout the United States from California to New York. Upcoming performances include concerts in Durham, England, soloist in the Peruvian Independence Day celebrations at the Daley Center and his company, The North Shore Opera Hour, will premiere the work, Mattthew: requiem of man written by Floyd Thompson in May of 2015.
