Heart of the Rainforest has some of the most beautiful artwork ever to grace a CD cover -- a combination of photography, drawing, and graphic design. It is stunning. The music does not live up to the artwork -- it is good but not great. Unlike Cusco, Baker and Marlo have some soul and character. This disc does not have the primal urgency that Andean natives demonstrate in their music, but it has some depth and feeling and is pleasant. Primal Instinct blows Cusco out of the water, but they pale in comparison to Jorge Alfano, Inkari, and Runa Pacha.
