简介
Four friends from Bakersfield, (Xavier Ruiz, Otis King, Lew Wilcox and Christian Martinez) who have played together on and off since the days of the British Invasion. They have played in bands and been backup musicians for numerous artists, playing hundreds of clubs and concerts, including The Troubadour, The Whiskey, The Starwood and The Topanga Coral. Over the years, they have recorded in studios ranging from the Muscle Shoals Studio in Alabama (with the Swampers), Shelter Records in Hollywood (Tom Petty), The Alamo Studio in North Hollywood (with Don Preston) to their hometown Bakersfield Sound Studio (Matthew Moore) as well as the original Buck Owens Studio. They have opened for Bruce Springsteen, B.B. King, The Doobie Brothers, Buddy Miles, Eddie Money, Missing Persons, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and many others.....Like many seasoned professionals, they did the "rite of passage" as Chuck Berry's backup band. All this, while absorbing and creating their own version of the "Bakersfield Sound" musical heritage. Today, they continue to explore Rock 'n roll, Blues, Country and R&B, to create this music that's in their hearts, on their self-titled first CD. Yeah Yeah Yeah ! Very personal lyrics on "Changed" on the passing away of the lead singer's daughter. also very personal lyrics on " Now and Then" for a dear musician friend who also passed away.
