简介

NoCoast BlackSmith (aka Coincyde) is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. . He is best known for his singles “Are You the Police”, Hot 100 song “Planna Sploosh”, and for writing and performing New Feminism, which streams in a little over 100 countries a month. In 2005, he worked with talented artists Ton EZ, Jon Mitchell, D-Vo, Marc E Fresh & J. Constant to form Associated Acts. He released 5 mixtapes and “Another Love Lesson EP.” After graduating Minot State University in 2012 with a B.A. in Spanish and a minor in Mathematics, BlackSmith moved to Denver, Colorado to pursue musical ambitions in a larger market and complete a year long internship at KMG Studios. Soon after, BlackSmith linked up with Asylom Ward Records to produce and engineer. During that time, NoCoast BlackSmith fell into some hard times and was living out of his car making beats on his laptop for 6 months. The perseverance and constant work in the studio allowed him connections in the music industry. In 2015, this led to the subsequent release of the EP, “Understand.” It featured a unique blend of old school boom bap, R&B, new age hip hop and funk elements. The EP is currently available on Itunes, Spotify and other digital formats. From the success of “Understand,” BlackSmith began to do multiple shows in the Upper and Lower Midwest regions. He released the single, “Stop Teasin'” on his 26th birthday October 2nd, 2015. It was released for free download on his Soundcloud and later for sell on Itunes and Amazon. New Feminism by NoCoast BlackSmith is his 3rd major album in the past 3 months. “Planna Sploosh,” and “Lockdown” spearhead the young songwriter’s drive towards the Billboard Hot 100 by having over 5,000 streams via Spotify. Bolstered by his recent verification from the music industry, NoCoast uses his song writing and production to emphasize the importance of being independent while embracing the beauty of being a man. “My gender studies class from college along with my love for the women around me inspired me to compose this,’ said the 26 year old producer, “I’m so in love with them all.” New Feminism cultural shifts hip hop to Denver, CO.
