简介
The Third Eye of Steven F. Gray * Deep in the Tibetan Mountains upon a mountain climbing expedition the parents of Steven F. Gray were venturing out upon one of the most dangerous climbs of there lives. The young man and women were expert mountain climbers and expected a good and thrilling experience. With a kiss and a hug they left there young boy at a hidden monastery and they proceeded to climb. They were warned not to take the route planned but went there own way. It was here that they encountered an angry spirit and he took them to a different plane in a tumble of gigantic rocks in the middle of a forsaken place. This would have been just another tragic event and the end of the story however, the boys young parents were very private people handling there affairs internally with no close relatives. Thus the young four year old boy became the ward of the forgotten deep mountain Tibetan monks whose spiritual teachings became the bread and butter of the young boy. It became apparent that the young boy was adept and could travel outward in the ethereal plane at the young age of 6 and his master teacher cautioned him to stop his ramblings as he could not travel to the forbidden place as yet, he was not ready. He was trained to keep his body and spirit clean to prepare it for further teachings; this included the rituals of the ancients which can not be described here. His master recognized great things however; he was not sure of this boy from the west whose life was so shattered by the path his life had taken. While alone in his chambers Steven would meditate and hear strange music which emanated from an unknown realm. He was hearing the music of the hippy generation in the 60’s and the 70’s whose souls closely resembled his Tibetan philosophy of peace and brotherhood and complete rejection of war. This was in tune with his amazing musical aptitude and a bridge to his origins in the United States. The elders recognized this in him and gave him extra training in all aural teachings, including the playing of the ancient drum, string, and wind instruments passed down through generations. He would play when finished with his teachings and meditations and became a joy to those whom listened. Aural meditations became second nature to the boy. There were places of ancient power where he was not allowed to enter in the monastery there resided vessels of all the past knowledge passed from then to now. One day his master came to him at the age of 11 and told him he was ready to pass a test. If this test was tried and not passed he would be lost forever to the realm of outer force, however, if not tried then further enlightenment would be impossible. It was the young mans decision. He decided to try the difficult path. For a reward the young boy was allowed to play a piano left over years ago to the monastery by a failed delegation of spiritual pilgrims’ from the west. It was maintained spotlessly and in very good tune. The boy was enraptured by the sound and became if not studied, then proficient as only one in love with an instrument can be. His master teacher prepared the young boy rigorously for half a year having him travel close to the forbidden place over and over, but bringing him back before he became too close. Of course he asked his teacher why this place was forbidden, he teacher would only say he would see soon enough. He was finally brought to a quiet isolated chamber built entirely out of chiseled rock set high in the monastery with a view of the mountains marching out of site in there misty glory. There he fasted for seven days until every thought was delirium and the cosmic wheel rolled ever faster taking him on trips he had never imagined. Then his teacher entered and asked him to quiet his soul in preparation for the test. This had never been so hard before because of his heightened mental state, however, he reached the plateau of awareness required after some struggle within. “You will now take a journey after the medical brother gives you a solemn right that has no going back. Do you wish to go on? There is no shame in going back to the monastery now all will understand and your life will be full, are you sure you wish to go on?” “Yes. Please take me to greater enlightenment father.” For the young man thought of his teacher as his father, the only father he had known for many years. In the same way the teacher thought of his young disciple as his son and knew the danger in what was to come. The teacher was confident in the young man, but full of trepidation for his sanity. The teacher told Steven to lay down on the bed hewn out of the solid rock of the room that was warmed by the sun coming through a hole in the ceiling which directly illuminated the spot but somehow never allowed rain into the room. The rite had begun. After a short while during which the young disciple cleansed his mind and body with yoga and meditation and prayer. The medical brother came into the room. He asked again “Are you willing now to do what cannot be undone?” The young man was overwhelmed at the sincerity in the others voice but nodded his head, yes. The medical brother asked him to lie back down and opening his bag took out a herb chamber, he lit the chamber after placing a scarf over his noise and mouth. The chamber was near to the boy. This was the last he remembered of this day. When he awoke he was bandaged on his forehead above his eyes. He felt very strange and stranger still he could see colors where no colors should be. He used his teachings to visualize himself in the room, then the room inside the mountain, then the whole mountain, then the road to the monastery, then the whole of the province. As he had been taught this was easy and he was eager to leave his body as now he saw colors where living beings went about there business. He noted that the colors where different for different animals, but most striking was that the colors where different for different people. In fact the colors where intricate for people, changing as they went about there lives in subtle shadings and permutations. Soon the medical brother came in and warned the boy to leave the bandage on until directed otherwise. He was given a herbal drink and told to drink this herb each morning and night. His teacher came in and was happy to see the young boy Steven had done just fine, and now for the real test. Do you know the place that forbidden place that I warned you of? That place that keeps you in your body even though you wish to roam? The boy answered “Yes father.” “Well now you must go there, you are now forewarned there are beings that through some means or another have lost there bodies and yearn for nothing more than to steal yours and to live out a normal life in this physical plane. They will try to get to your body any way they can. They will try to sever your ethereal connection to your mind and take you over. You would then be enslaved to them and would have to be put away with the other brothers whom have gone too far in there wanderings. Do you remember the cells you used to clean and the brothers you cared for in the Other place?” “Yes father I remember the poor ones that had lost there way.” I will not end up like them, I will be strong and remember my teachings. I will not be tricked and will turn my will to steal when approached by such as these. The teacher looked at the young pupil solemnly and said. “You will be approached yet this time you will do the approaching, be assured where you will travel will be so thick of these beings and worse beings, that you will experience this to it’s evil fullest. Just be aware now of the colors you are seeing for the first time now. These will ever be true to you, look for the most wrong of these. When you see this in its most unbearable foulest form turn away and leave. There are some things you must and cannot face just yet.” “You see my son, the medical brother has given you the most precious and dangerous of gifts, you now have The Third Eye.” “Go now into meditation and leave your body, follow the colors to the foul place where the un-restful beings lie in wait. In this place you will find them trapped, there are spirits and other beings there in this horrid place. Why you go is to be aware that such as these exist, so be very careful and heed my warnings, do not let your desire for knowledge be your undoing. Keep your wandering soul sharp and your will strong and come back after the sun desires its sleep.” To be continued……………………… *The story is hearsay and is most likely a fictional account.
