Newfie Octopus is an 80 minute comedy album recorded in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 2013. Derek has quickly become one of Canada's favorite comedians and has appeared at every major festival in the land including 5 stops at the Prestigious Montreal Just for Laughs festival. In 2013, he recorded a Gala for HBO entitled the Whitney Cummings Bleep Show and he received a standing ovation for his performance of the joke he calls Newfie Octopus; the title of this Album.
